Coral Coast takes on new market

Queensland company Coral Coast has signed as a new exhibitor for the Decoration + Design fair (D+D) in Sydney next year. Based on the Sunshine Coast, the company began as a designer and producer of photo albums, scrapbooks and photo frames but has since moved into new categories.

Sales director Alun Rogers confirmed the company would promote its range of wall art at D+D, including shadow box framed artefacts, canvas art (pictured), stone art, glass art, clocks and mirrors.

"We've predominantly targeted the giftware market in the past but the furniture and homewares market is new to us," he added.

With products available in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, Coral Coast caters to independent retailers as well as photography retailers and events photographers. It also has a burgeoning private label catering to leading Australian retailers.

Decoration + Design, co-located with the Australian International Furniture Fair at the Sydney Exhibition Centre, will take place from 3-5 February 2010.
