Heritage player's vintage wares

Horgans, a Sydney based wholesaler of European inspired furniture, homewares, accessories and jewellery, has revealed plans to release an expanded version of its vintage inspired furniture and accessories range, launched this year.

Director Renee Horgan said buyers were currently overseas sourcing further product in the vintage range, following an "exceptional" reception by the market when the range first launched.

"There were around 72 pieces in the initial vintage range, and there will be considerably more in the enhanced collection," she said.

"We'll also be introducing some beautiful garden sculptures as well as a range of other products with a very glamorous edge, including silver jugs and household items, and high end bathroom accessories."

The family owned and run business was founded around 30 years go and services clients across Australasia and surrounding regions, mainly in the small to medium sized gift and homewares store sector.

"We carry over 2000 products," Hogan said, "and we're also very well known for beautiful high end Christmas decorations. While we sit at the mid to upper end of the market, we also have a good reputation for reasonable pricing."

Horgans will showcase its expanded vintage collection and new product ranges at Decoration + Design, co-located with the Australian International Furniture Fair at the Sydney Exhibition Centre, from 3-5 February 2010. It will also participate in the Melbourne edition of the trade fair later that year.
