Meizai: International design flair

Meizai has an important new addition to its stable: Sydney-based furniture company Hardy, whose new collection of classic shapes and styles will be showcased at Decoration + Design.

Otherwise, Meizai will reinforce its well-earned reputation for sourcing some of the best from home and abroad through its latest array of furniture and decorative pieces created by leading talents in Europe, Asia and Australia.

Founded in 2004, Melbourne-based Meizai has gathered impetus as a wholesaler and retailer over the past two years and now boasts a flagship store in Richmond. Indoor and outdoor furniture; ceramics and sculpture; carpets and rugs - the combined effect is a sensory blast.

Leading Meizai's eclectic brands are Asiatides Paris, which blends European design and Oriental mystique, and d-Bodhi, whose stylish, sustainable contemporary and classical designs are handcrafted from recycled timber.
