PADDED was a new and exciting feature especially created for the 2010 fair to showcase the skills of the upholsterer and promote the upholstery industry in Victoria.

Upholstery, one of the most ancient crafts is much more than a pretty skin of fabric. In the hands of a skilled craftsman it brings the skeleton of a hidden frame to life, revealing its true form to provide long lasting support and comfort.

This exhibit challenged the perception of the scope of the upholsterers expertise, extending to many unfamiliar areas such as automotive, interiors and even coffins.
