Who can attend?

Decoration + Design is a Trade Only Event. Entry is restricted to bonafide members of the interior design, furniture & soft furnishings industry and over the age of 16. These include Retailers, Designers, Decorators, Architects and relevant buyers from Hotels, Restaurants, Healthcare, Aged Care, Government, Educators, Real Estate & Building and Construction.

Business ID may be required upon entry eg. Business card, letterhead or company documentation containing your company ABN. You may also be asked for personal identification such as a drivers licence to substantiate your identification.

Those not involved in the interior design, furniture & furnishings industry will not be admitted. Selling or promotion of products/services to exhibitors is not permitted. No photography or sketching permitted. Students will not be registered.

Do I need to register for the Fair?

Yes all trade visitors must register for the Fair. You may register online or you can register by completing the registration form attached to the Trade Invitations. Trade Invitations will be available closer to the Fair. To ensure you receive your Trade Invitation call +613 8672 1200 to register your company details.

Alternatively you can register for the Fair when you arrive, however to avoid queues we recommend you pre-register.

What happens when I register?

If you register online you will receive an email confirmation that gives you a summary of your registered details and a unique registration identification number. On your registration page you will have selected either Email or SMS to receive your bCODE. If you fax your registration, you will be required to provide and email address or mobile telephone number to received your bCODE prior to the Trade Fair.

All registrations will have selected either email or SMS to receive their bCODE. If you selected mobile phone, we will send your SMS bCODE to your mobile phone from Sunday 29 January 2012. If you select email, we will send your bCODE to your email address from Thursday 19th January 2012. When you arrive at the Trade Show scan your bCODE at the entry to receive your Visitor Access Card.

Note that the Organiser reserves the right to cancel invalid registrations to ensure that entry is limited to bonafide trade visitors.

Can I change my registration details or check my details?

Yes, if you need to check what details have been registered please telephone the Organiser, Australian Exhibitions & Conferences on tel +613 8672 1200.

Alternatively, your registration details can be altered when you arrive at the Fair at the onsite registration desk located near the entrance to the Fair. You won't need to complete another registration form, simply present your business identification at the counter.

Can students attend?

Students will not be registered. Relevant Final Year Tertiary Students may visit Decoration + Design on Friday 3 February 2012 only. Course administrators MUST apply in writing to the Organiser prior to the Fair's commencement. Details must include institution, course, number of students and preferred attendance time. Can I bring my family to have a look?

Trade Fair entry is restricted to Trade Only. Children under 16 may attend free of charge if accompanied by an adult at all times. There are no child minding facilities available at the venue.

Will there be any special events?

How do I get to the Venue?

Do I need a Visa to visit Australia?

Most International visitors to Australia will require a Visa to enter the country. For Government details on Visas visit Australian Government Immigration site at www.immi.gov.au Remember if you need to make a Visa Application make sure you do so well in advance as there is usually a processing period involved.

How many exhibitors are there?

Decoration + Design and the co-located Australian International Furniture Fair will have 100+ exhibitors from Australia & overseas showcasing their latest products
